Grinding is the heavy first stage of floor work. A weighted machine with coarse diamonds takes the surface down so uneven tiles, deep scratches and worn patches become one flat plane. Honing then smooths that surface, and polishing brings up the shine.

Not every floor needs it. If the tiles are level and the marks are light, we start at a finer grit and save you time and cost. Grinding removes stone, so we only do what the floor needs.
